In my book, I talk about the actor-turned Parkinson’s activist Michael J. Fox -- specifically how he considers himself the luckiest man alive for being stricken with his disease. (Hence the title of his 2002 memoir.) Today I just found that Fox is taking his glass-is-half-full outlook to the next level: He’s doing a television special about optimism for the ABC network. “Michael J. Fox: Adventures of an Incurable Optimist” airs on May 7.
